A reminder that Windows Thin PC will end support on October 12, 2021.
For organizations still maintaining Windows Thin PC, Microsoft recommends that you consider moving to a newer remote desktop client. Enterprise organizations needing information on upgrading should contact the original equipment manufacturer (OEM) or Microsoft Authorized Distributor.
OEMs needing additional information should contact their Microsoft sales representative or distributor. For information about the Windows lifecycle, please see the Windows Lifecycle FAQ.

이건 원본(?) 이라고도 볼 수 있는 POSReady 7 의 ESU 지원기간 안내 페이지인데...Thin PC 도 비슷하게 될 가능성이 높겠군요.

POSReady7 및 ThinPC 둘다 Embedded Standard 7을 기반으로 하고 있어서
동일하게 유료 연장지원(ESU)를 할껄로 생각했는데 Microsoft의 각 제품별 라이프싸이클 페이지를 보면
다른 에디션들은 ESU 지원기간이 표기되어 있는데 ThinPC만 ESU를 지원하지 않는걸로 나옵니다.

오홈... 결국 32비트만 지원에
판매/사용처로나 기능으로나 제한적인 에디션인 Thin PC 는 ESU 지원 연장이 안될수도 있겠군요...

ThinPC 이거 VM올려서 24시간 회사 VPN접속용으로 쓰는데.. 아쉽네요
11에서도 저런 Thin Client 버전나왔으면좋겠습니다 -

임베디드 7 중에서 제일 깔끔하긴 하죠 한글 언어팩도 그렇고
다 되어가네요
다만 일반 에디션이랑 동일하게 ESU 제공될듯합니다
